Statement

My painting can be summed up in two words: colour and movement

​

I work with stained-glass paint, which I pour directly onto the surface, often in dialogue with resin. I dispense with brushes or control tools, allowing gravity, time, and the fluidity of the material to actively participate in the construction of the work. This gesture of releasing the paint is also an act of freedom: I abandon the rigidity of form to embrace the unexpected, raw emotion, and the organic movement that arises from the very flow of the material.

 

The colours, intense and translucent, expand, overlap, and merge into organic, unrepeatable compositions. Chance is not an error, but a creative partner, to which I respond through intuition, gesture, and observation. Each painting thus becomes the record of a unique moment—a visual and sensory experience that reflects the instant in which it was created.

 

Through abstraction, I seek to make visible inner states, memories, and sensations that do not easily find rational form. The transparency and movement of the paint allow me to explore instability, transformation, and the relationship between matter and emotion. I do not intend to represent the world, but to feel it and to convey, through colour and gesture, that which passes through us without being seen.

 

My works do not demand rational understanding, but rather a sensory surrender. I invite the viewer to find themselves within the paintings in their own way, recognising fragments of their own emotional world. Each work remains open to interpretation, like a liquid mirror in which the gaze of the observer completes the creative act.
