In this series, the artist translates into matter the living memory of her journey through the far south of the continent.

Where the wind sculpts the landscape, painting embraces the force of the elements; where the horizon seems infinite, the canvas becomes a space of contemplation. It is not about portraying geography, but about capturing its visceral atmosphere — the monumental solitude of glaciers, the raw stone, and the vast silence of untamed landscape. Through deep textures, cold palettes torn by sudden light, and a contemplative gesture, each piece transports us to the scale of the immense — an invitation to feel the pure breath of wild earth.

There are landscapes that are not merely kept in memory — they are etched into the soul. "Emerald Lagoon" is born from the distant, majestic echo of Patagonia, at the exact threshold where the land bids farewell to civilization and the silence of glaciers turns into color.

In this piece, the viewer’s gaze is drawn into the center of a serene abyss: a glacial lagoon of dense, magnetic emerald-blue. Surrounding this pulsing heart, glass paint and resin embrace on canvas in an organic dialogue of transparency and texture. Light pierces the medium much like the sun breaks through the southern mountain mist, casting glassy reflections that seem to freeze time itself and the continuous motion of nature.

The organic contours—where shades of earth, ice, and flora merge into diaphanous veils—evoke thawing ice, bare rock, and the untamed force of the elements. The resin lends it a liquid, almost tactile three-dimensionality, inviting the observer to lean over the mystery of deep waters at the end of the world.
